Welcome to the 2008 (13th
Annual) Western
Conference on Safety, Western Canada’s
largest occupational health and safety event. Each year,
members of the conference organizing committee search
throughout North America seeking out the best topics
and speakers and bringing them to the Western Conference
on Safety.
Last year was our 3rd year hosting
the conference at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver and more
than 1000 people came out to participate.
Hosted by the Pacific Safety Center Ltd and
the BC Safety Council.
The conference includes a blend of seminars
aimed at everyone from the new safety committee member
to the most experienced safety professional. With over
25 sessions, keynote presentations, a 70+ booth tradeshow
and more than 1000 attendees, this conference has something
for everyone.
